Suicide - Read this and think about it again

As I said in my earlier post. We kind of knew early this morning what happened to James Dungy. Now I am not sure if anyone would have spotted the warning signs, or even know what to for him. I offer this one suggestion for anyone thinking about it.

Thinking of getting rid of the pain. Read this website. Call ASAP for help.

I have met the Dungy kids a couple of different times here in Tampa, over the years I have watched this young man grow up, from a brief conversation during some Super Bowl Events to meeting him out and about town. I am a father, Tony's concept of being a father to your children and not just a Dad is somthing that I agree with. We have to focus on our children, raise them up to be respectful, God fearing men, while we await the details, I have details as to what happened, I am deeply saddened by the event. Tony is on his way back to Tampa, may already be here. This year has been marked with great success for him, and now will forever be marked with the greatest lose a parent can have. Rest in peace James, Rest in peace. - End

Tony Dungy's son found dead in Lutz apartment: "LUTZ - A former Buccaneers coach still beloved in the bay area is facing a personal tragedy, even as his new team prepares for a run at the Super Bowl.

Tony Dungy's 18-year-old son James was found dead in his USF-area apartment early this morning by Hillsborough County deputies. There were no signs of foul play, investigators said, but they would not confirm if the cause of death was suicide.

According to the sheriff's office, James was not breathing when his girlfriend, Antoinette Anderson, returned to the Campus Lodge apartment complex off Livingston at 1:30 a.m. Deputies performed CPR on James when they arrived and rushed him to University Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead"
