U2 Post Covid World

The largest shows of our time, that's what we could say about U2. What could the future of U2 in a post covid world? It is hard to say; we have not heard much from U2. The boys have not been in the studio, or if they are, we would not hear about it. Remember that U2 is now part of the machine we call LIVE NATION.

They have at the time the largest 360 contracts within the industry. What we have seen from the boys over the last few months the drop of a re-master album, "All That you can't leave behind." We can agree that the album did produce a few tunes that can withstand the test of time. From the cover with a hidden J 33-3, Rolling Stone called the album a masterpiece. A classic remix designed into a must-have for any U2 fan.

What could be next? In the '90s, music fans looked for a hero to relate to and explore the human spirit's bounds. Defined by ideals that yet explored, Bono appeared to guide us as shaman thru the self-discovery of who we are. Love or Hate Bono's politics, he never shied away from his views; rather than keep them bottled up, he put them front and center any chance he could.

Often reporters tested the boys' relationship by asking the simple question, "What do you think of Bono and all his comments?" Not taking the bait, the boys allowed the music to speak for its self. The music did speak.

Beautiful Day an anthem to shout out that today is different and that tomorrow not promised and to focus on here and now, dream if you must of tomorrow; however, stay right here with me and focus on where we could go believed in each other.

Walk On a simple message of not leaving love behind because you know you can't. Embrace it, allow the darkness to fade away, and know that the daylight is just beyond my words. Be strong. Be ready to walk on. You have everything you need.

Now we are about to enter into a Post- Covid world with a suitcase that none of us has been. Maybe it's just the right time for the boys to jump into the studio and help us all feel a little better about where we could what the future could hold for us as we leave it all behind us. Tomorrow, not promised, and yet we hold upon hope and faith that we could reach beyond today.
