This would be the first show that NLOTH would appear. We got an early image that suggested that a departure from the set list might happen.  First set “Out of Control” returned and fans not disappointed with the additions of “Volcano” and “Ordinary Love” a couple of technical issues with the piano gave Bono the chance to banter about with the crowd.

Spotting a sign “Lesbians for Bono” Bono reconfirmed that he is for lesbians, giving the crowd and social media a spike. The evening ends with “One” and the long week ended. The crew begins the load out and on to Denver for a few days.  LA will always been remember for some public reasons and so much so public.

The tour is in full swing and for the most part fans around the world have only one major complaint “ Why not my city?”  The tour hits select cities with the now confirmed highest reseller ticket prices ever. Some conversations suggest that Latin America is on the horizon and why not.

Bono and the boys love Brazil, Chile, Peru and Columbia all of those cities would sell out within minutes. For now the boys have the summer’s hottest North American tour and the marketing machines are smiling from ear to ear with the amount of social media interactions. The future looks bright and in the rear views a foundation that has built the largest rock band in the world.

LA Soon Rearview As Denver Lights Spotted Ahead

Tonight will be the final night in LA. The band rested up and ready to leave LA on top of its game.

U2 will next hit Denver’s Pepsi Center for two shows this weekend. Cycling accidents, falling off the stage, and the passing of the bands tour manager will not stop this band. The crew, band and family move on with heavy hearts and with a strong faith.  This band wears faith and heart on its sleeve and carries on.

So we have heard some noise in the system about the health of the band. Lets not start those rumors. The tour dates have designed built in breaks. Yes this is a massive schedule however if you dig into the dates  you see some breaks in the schedule.

The North American tour will continue through the end of July and the band really looks and sounds the best ever. This is the must see show of the summer and ticket prices have reflected such.  The secondary market has been strong knocking out fans with an avg ticket price of $257.86 and that even with ticket control measures in place.

Fans we will continue our concertphotos drop where fans can send in their images/videos for posting. We have all our social properties reporting the news and providing you a complete update of the show day events.  We will not be reporting on what the band eats, or some lame crap about what shoes Dallas has on today. We are about the music and the show.  Stop by one of our properties and be a part of the experience

U2 LA Nights Show #4

Suzy/U2TOURFANS 2015

Suzy/U2TOURFANS 2015

The set list is pretty much baked. A few new additions added to the show such as "All I Want Is You" and a departure from the printed set-list and putting back in "40". The band seems content with the show lay out. Few design changes in the video wall and some updates to images have given the show a feel of a comfortable pair of jeans that you want to wear over and over without washing.

U2 fans have been sending in their images to concertphotos@u2tourfans.com and we are updating the collection with some new additions.  One more night in LA and the band is off to Denver ! Fans in Denver have been awaiting for the arrival and meet ups have been scheduled. If you looking for what fans are doing you can download our app which has the fan connection section to get up to date fan information.

  14. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For

INGLEWOOD, CA: A day off for all us U2 goes back to work at THE FORUM with show #3. The set list has pretty much been set for a few shows and the boys are now working on those add in songs that will be sprinkled about the tour. Two new songs added "Elevation" and "Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of" have both been added to the set list after appearing on the Roxy set list.

Many questioned if the the band could support a multi day set within the same city and the boys answered back with a blasting visual outstanding show that proved that the band can pull though any issue and continue to  perform without missing a beat.

Now we have heard fans start to call this "THE CURSED" tour we have to say that is just not the case.

Life has movement, Just as the band has movement. Focus on the music. Leave the rest of the stuff behind.

Two more show and the boys move on to Denver.

U2 Rocks The Roxy

HOLLYWOOD, CA -  Right smack in the middle of the 5 night run at the Forum, KROQ working with The Roxy Theatre held a surprise gig for about 500 lucky fans who managed to score free tickets for the event.

This was the smallest venue the band has played in many years. The band did come out and spend some time with the fans, signing and posing for photos. Inside the Bono even did a bit of crowd-surfing and amazed fans with a very up close and personal evening.

Wednesday night we had a photo of the set list that was to be performed at the Roxy. The photo turned out to be right on the money. The band had a very long sound check that included “11 O’clock Tick Tock”, “The Ocean” “Elevation”, “Stuck In A Moment”, “Sunday Bloody Sunday”, and “California”.

The band will head back to the forum to finish out their LA gigs and head on to Denver.

* show audio available per track

A Tribute to Sheehan, Band Goes On

INGLEWOOD, Calif. - The show went on. As reported earlier Dennis Sheehan long time tour manager passed away May 26th. Paster Rick Warren was invited in to counsel the band. Dennis was very kind Christian man. Paster Rick shared some scripture, words of comfort, and pray with them right before they walked on stage tonight.

After sharing the ‪#‎ChooseJoy‬ story from my son's death, I asked "So how do you go out and do a concert when your heart is hurting?" Bono said "We choose joy!" Right. Pray for Pam who lost the love of her life.

The show went on as scheduled. We reported earlier that the band has selected "40" as the closing song for the evening and confirmed with the set-list that "40" would be the closing song. We elected not to publish the set-list to allow fans to experience the show. Some in the social media expressed their disappointment in our choice. However we did the right thing for the greater good.

The audience started singing the lengthy refrain of "how long to sing this song?" long after the band left the stage.

This was an emotional evening for everyone and the band stepped up and performed one of their best shows.  The spirit was in the house, and The Lord provided the comfort the band and crew needed to carry them on.

Forum Show Will Not Be Impacted

Following news that U2's longtime tour manager, Dennis Sheehan, was found dead Wednesday morning (May 27), sources confirmed to Billboard that his tragic death will not have an impact on the band's current Innocence + Experience tour.

Most immediately, Wednesday night's show at The Forum in Los Angeles will proceed without postponement or delay -- but not without a nod to Sheehan's impact on the band. U2 is planning a tribute to Sheehan at the show, according to a source: "Dennis was the heart and soul of the organization."

Tour personnel changes are currently being sorted out in the midst of Sheehan's unexpected death.
