More U2 Dates yet to be Annouced

Live Nation’s Arthur Fogel, promoter-producer of all of U2’s tours since PopMart in 1997 and 1998, noting that he would have liked to make a splashier announcement tied to a high-profile TV play, no doubt in reference to U2’s planned (and scrapped) five-night residency on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. But “given all factors, we’re OK.”

Only stops in North America, the United Kingdom and Europe were announced, and Fogel is tight-lipped on future plans, but it wouldn’t be out of the question for the tour to run as long as three years, returning to North America and Europe, along with visits to Asia, South America, Australia and other territories.  

Now checking around the globe we have sources that have informed us that some venues have "blocked" availability dates for their arena use. It's possible those slots have been put on block as Live Nation Global Touring and U2 work out the routing schedule around the world. This is the part of the business that has to be done right. Routing a band the size of U2 does not come easy logistics has to be worked out all the way down to the pre concert day and post concert day. 

We expect that U2 will be announcing more dates within the next couple of weeks.  The boys will tour this current album and the upcoming eXPERIENCE album yet to be released. For U2 to be touring for the next 3 years is not impossible.  Now the final show will be Dublin and those dates have not been announced

U2's iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour 2015 Adds More Dates

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- A triumph in ticket sales,  U2's iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour 2015 is sold out in every city where it went on sale this morning, it was announced by Live Nation. Following overwhelming fan demand, including a record-setting 118,000 fans queuing online to purchase tickets in New York, two new shows have been confirmed in New York, Chicago, Boston, Montreal, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Berlin & Paris. Tickets for the new dates will go on sale Monday, Dec. 15. A complete tour itinerary is below.

The tour follows the recent release of U2's thirteenth studio album Songs Of Innocence by Island Records, which was given to U2.com subscribers and gifted by Apple to over half a billion iTunes Music Store customers worldwide. To date, Songs of Innocence has been streamed 81 million times and has been downloaded by 30 million fans.

Tickets for the additional U2 iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour 2015 shows will go on general sale Monday, Dec. 15. U2.com subscribers who have not already utilized their code and new members may access tickets at U2.com from Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. through Friday, Dec. 12 at noon (all times local). Tickets will be general admission on the floor and reserved seating in the stands.

U2 iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour 2015 is produced by Live Nation Global Touring. UPS is the Official Logistics Provider of the tour.

U2 iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour 2015 GA SOLD OUT

The unofficial results suggest that all GA tickets are gone. That's it folks we have check around, tested the system and pushed over a couple of TM resources to find out that all GA has been sold out.   The TM process has changed a bit so that you have to use your credit card for the ticket purchase and that you have to use the same card to get your tickets. Now this should derail ticket brokers however that's not going to be the case in most large cities. We expect to see broker prices beyond the moon or a at least close to it. 19 cities leave everyone looking for tickets and most have not found one. Its going to be a interesting few months of ramping up for the tour and yet we don't have an update on Bono's health. Easy now all will be fine

U2 Tickets On Sale Today

Pre-sale ended with only 19 cities announced earlier in the week most GA seat have been taken even with the issues within the Ticketmaster system. No open tickets are available today.  This looks to be a sell out. Many U2 dedicated fans have been left at the alter with no ticket and no chance of getting a ticket unless more dates are announced. 

On a brighter note, while no dates for the Dublin concerts have been announced the band said on its website “special shows are being planned for Dublin for the end of next year to benefit the U2-initiated Music Generation project”. The European leg begins in Turin on September 4th and ends in Paris on November 11th.

U2 Gets Grammy Nomination

The Grammy nominations are being revealed Friday, culminating in the album of the year nominees being announced at 7 p.m. PST.

U2's Pre Sales Nightmare

Fans have been posting on social media there displeasure with the pre-sales ticket process. This is nothing new almost for every single U2 tour fans have complained about the process and the way that Ticketmaster handles the entry to purchase. Fans expected this time to be different. Frankly why ? The process has been the same for some time.

However this time is different U2 and another band ( which had some choice words about U2) have released their pre-sales on the same day that would automatically cause some pain within the system. 

Today is another day of pre-sales with mid day launch of the next group. Fans already have noticed that most of the shows have sold out GA and that resellers have an influx of tickets available on-line for purchase.

We checked and we found tons of parking passes for sale yet to find any tickets.

For now fans have to accept the process as it stands nothing will change midstream its impossible to change anything at this point.

U2 Crushed Ticketmaster

Due to the high demand Ticketmaster has been crushed ! This was the official comment from the U2 official site.
